It was with great pleasure that I received your letter after doubting for so long whether I will ever hear from you. I really thank you very much for your care for the family I told you about. As for your request regarding Medical service, I hope to send you a more detailed letter concerning this once I get more accurate information. But any way, I hope to go to France. most probably on board the "Artsa" sailing from Haifa on the 13th & if I can see you on my arrival I would willingly tell you all I know about that. From my part I have two requests from you; which I hope you will be be able to do for me. (1) to bring with you from France to Israel some things which I promised to my cousins whom you saw on the ship. The details of these items I will mention below. (2) My second request is once you are here, I will keep with you some articles [ certain books & certain clothes] which I do not want to take back home. But since I will leave Israel before you come, may I be you can propose to me somebody whom you trust - with whom I may keep this deposit till your arrival. P.S. The articles requested by my cousins are:- a)- Rubber boots for rain מגפים- four pairs. size No 38→40-. b) Toile- ciré - square shaped for the table. c) Echarpes - in wool. four pairs. In case you will not be able to meet in Marseille, try to fix me some other rendez-vous. & if this also fails, I will count on you on buying the above mentioned articles. I will send you a cheque to your adress for the expenses. Try to write to me more often. Moché.
