Dear Haym, I am afraid that I feel rather disappointed for here I am, a few hours before my boat sails [Now it is 6:30 A.M] and no letters came from you. I trust that, as usual, your letter has been delayed in the post or may even might have been sent to another address. But if I have failed to get in touch with you before I leave, I still hope to see you at my arrival. If you can, try to be at the port when the ship arrives - I may be a little delayed at the customs or something. If not try to leave me a message [a place & a time] in a message to Mr. M.M. at the office of Sholam in Marseille. Hoping to see you after such a long interval, I remain yours truly Dr. M.G.
